Shared hosting is where you purchase hosting on a shared server. This server will host other websites as well, so you don't get the guarenteed server resources that all of our other packages do. But, having said this, websites aren't generally that greedy when it comes to server usage, so shared hosting is an ideal first step for the majority of websites.
